We are seeking a talented video editor who can work effectively to create clear, compelling and seamless tutorial videos, reels/shorts and adverts.

You'll be skilled in your craft, able to produce and create videos that teaches our content, promotes our products, and enhances our brand.

You will work closely with Matt, Liv, Yuval & Jacob in tutorial creation, as well as Adria to build compelling advertising.

We're a small team of 6-7, so we are looking for someone who can be flexible and is very good at managing their own time. You will take initiative when it comes to getting things done and complete projects on time. A lot of your work will get published as we are fast-moving and continually producing new content.

Desired Results

• Create beautiful videos that make complex topics simple to understand
• Edit engaging reels/shorts that get pushed to new audiences by the social media platforms
• Help level up the quality of our content and brand

Responsibilities

• Understand the impact video content makes with our audience. You take as much pride in a 15min tutorial as you do in a short 15-second mobile ad
• You can take a video brief or concept and go from storyboard to completion
• You balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible outputs
• You ensure videos are ready for delivery across multiple platforms
• You will be responsible for audio processing, sound design, colour correction and animations
• You will be responsible for maintaining backups and file organisation

Experience

• Software
  • Premiere Pro (very proficient)
  • After Effects
  • Blender (not compulsory)
• A desire to nerd-out on problem-solving, learning new editing skills and refining your craft
• You’ll be interested and/or experienced in working with marketing, digital media, and social media
• You have an interest and/or understanding of videography; cinematography techniques, composition, creative transitions and lighting
• You have experience with basic 2D After Effects animations (lines, arrows, etc.)
• Added bonus: experience or interest in 3D animation
• Very good English

  • Remote work will be required until Spring/Summer 2024. We are building our Headquarters in Sintra right now. It will not be ready until next year. But once it is ready the video editor position will be based here in our state-of-the-art editing suite. The team will frequently visit Lisbon where you can meet up and work together in person in the mean-time.

We're looking for someone to storyboard, edit and report on short form social media content.

Qualities

• Promptly dealing with tasks and correspondence

• Be methodical, consistent and very organised
• Be able to be a bit bossy and help the team stick to deadlines and objectives
• Very good English, especially writing skills
• Proficient with Google Business Suite (google drive, google calendar, etc), experience with Notion is a bonus
